Leasa Chase has been married to the Doctor for over 25 years. Together they have 7 children and currently 22 grandchildren. Leasa received a bachelor degree from Brigham Young University, worked as a substitute elementary teacher, a preschool teacher, and Piano teacher. She has worked part-time at the office for many years and is now a full-time staff member. She loves children, playing the piano, reading, and working with the love of her life.
Bridget joined the Family Vision Care team in August of 2016. A native of the Los Angeles area, Bridget enjoys working with patients to find frames that look and feel good and choose lenses to suit their needs. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys interacting with patients of all ages. Bridget graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and minor in Spanish.
Ms. Yolanda has been with Dr. Chase for over 30 years. Graduating from Southern Calif. Optometry in Ophthalmic Sciences. Her background is from Dispensing to Ophthalmic Therapy. She is Certified by the AOA and a member of the OEP and COVD. She is a Clear Credential Instructor, presently teaching, with a double Masters Degree in Education and Technology Curriculum Design. This has been an asset in guiding today’s students towards proper visual support while utilizing the best in learning and technology. She is loved by all her patients and staff and when it comes to vision therapy, she’s spec-tac-u-lar!
A lifelong native of Los Angeles, Mark Thorn earned his bachelor’s degree in English from California State Dominguez Hills. His interests include a love of reading and a writing short stories. Mark also vividly watches films, owing to his encyclopedic knowledge of cinema. He has been a staff member of Family Vision Care Center since 2011, with special attention on helping patients improve their visual acuity through reading and tracking activities.
Ms. Castillo has an educational background from courses in psychology and sociology in attending Hollins and Chapman University. Additionally, she has a knowledge base and experience in teaching students Kinder-third grade, specifically in the area of intervention in language arts, writing and math. She enjoys helping people of all ages learn and assist in improving their vision.
